Dive into the high-energy world of "Wotagei" (also known as Cyalume Dance), a unique modern Japanese performance art that combines powerful choreography with glowing light sticks. This hands-on workshop, led by an expert performer, guides you through the evolution of this subculture—from its roots in fan culture to its current status as a mesmerizing visual art form.

The session starts with a professional demonstration of high-speed light movements, followed by a breakdown of the "biometrics" and "triangle theory" behind the dance. You’ll learn signature moves like the "Thundersnake" and "Muramasa," practicing how to use your full body to create sharp, beautiful light trails. Whether you are a total beginner or a dancer looking to sharpen your technique, this experience provides all the equipment and coaching needed to create a stunning visual masterpiece. The workshop concludes with a video recording and light-painting photography of your performance to document your journey into this vibrant Tokyo subculture.
