We will meet at a nice local restaurant (cost at least 1,000JPY per person for meal) where you can enjoy soba — healthy Japanese noodles made of buckwheat, taking with soy sauce based soup — and sake — natural rice wine. I will add some fun to this experience by demonstrating origami — inspiring Japanese paper-folding — and showing you how to do it. This will help you feel relaxed, refreshed, and satisfied. You may find more depth in the worlds of soba, origami, and sake than you expected.
Other things to note Please pay for your own food and drinks at the restaurant.

I am a native of Japan, and have been making and teaching origami for over 10 years. I’m a certified origami instructor with the Nippon Origami Association. I believe origami can unite people around the world. Folding origami can create a sense of happiness, resulting in peace and smiles all around. My grandpa founded a noodle company, which manufactured noodles by a hand kneading process. Because I ate so many noodles in my childhood, I can say that half my cells consist of noodles. My favorite alcohol is sake, as it gives me a great feeling in the next morning when I wake up—no doubt.
