First, we can snack on some traditional Japanese sweets. And then, I will take you down a trip on memory lane to my childhood memories and experiences. Some places to note on the tour is a handmade ice cream parlor which contains all natural fruits and vegetables. You can select from around 8-10 different flavors which I have enjoyed since childhood. The parlor also contains traditional Japanese flavors such as Matcha and Yuzu(seasonal flavor). Furthermore, I personally know the owner so she will always give us a bit extra! If the tour contains enough people, we will go to a very unique cafe where we can share a massive and photogenic monster of an ice cream! From there, we will tour the rest of this vibrant street where many local, authentic Japanese sweets are offered, for example matcha, mochi, daifuku and dango to name a few. There are also savoury options on offer. We can have yakitori(Charcoal grilled, juicy skewered chicken)where we can go for the local experience by attending a standing bar, which is a very Japanese way of dining. If you like, and time permits, I will also take you to a hidden, very fancy and unique cake shop towards the end of the tour. I look forward to seeing you and showing you around!Yakitori and sweets are NOT includedCome hungry! If you have a food restriction, please let me know in advance.

I'm a food blogger, a writer and an Instagramer and have a big passion to find delicious desserts. People call me 'sweets hunter'! I've eaten a total over 5000 sweets in the past 10 years all over the world. We have so many delicious desserts in Japan, I'd like to show the world special desserts that bring back my childhood memories. I will take you on a tour of Musashi-koyama, which is a vibrant and lively neighborhood situated close to the center of Tokyo. This is where I grew up, so I possess an in-depth knowledge of the best shops and eateries out of the hundreds that occupy the area.
